Need some help... The following VAG code came up... I purchased the part... and using my Bentley CD... can't for the life of me find where this is...
I have found described as being located "valve is positioned near the airbox and controls the vacuum that regulates a small flap in airbox"
I am going crazy.... please help me find this in the Bentley docs... i think it is a difference in part naming.
Thanks
Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 2) P2020 - 008
Re: Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 2) P2020 - 0
The intake manifold flap position sensors are mounted on the ends of the intake manifold not the air box, the air box does not have banks
Bank 2 is the passenger side in the UK I believe

Re: Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 2) P2020 - 0
That's right it's the passenger side manifold flap position sensor. It's a manifold off job for that one iF I remember correctly, as it's mounted at the rear of the manifold. The drivers side bank 1 is at the front and is accessible without removing the manifold.

Although even that one is a right pita to get at. But is possible... just.RS6BRIT wrote:That's right it's the passenger side manifold flap position sensor. If you need to see what your trying to remove (your doing it yourself) I can send you a photo of the manifold upside down, (spare manifold) this will help finding the fixings,
I can also let you know what tools you will need?
