That's a good price! I've been running them ever since I took the original P-zero off.

I've got some Michelin PSS (£144 each) turning up any day now with the wheels going in for a refurb at the weekend.

Got mine off tyre leader, where did you find the best price?

Sorry mate. Didn't want to sound like I was plugging a business. Tyre leader.co.uk. Highly recommended. I've used them a couple of times now for the Mrs and families cars. Seem to be a lot cheaper than black circles.

I'm running the same from when I brought it. Not a huge fan to be honest. Heard good things about the Goodyears so thought I would give them a try.

The Goodyears are miles apart from the P-zeros, even more so if you are replacing a worn set of P-zeros.

I got a similar quote from Tyreleader so asked my local indie mate if he could price match. I paid £590 for 4, balanced and fitted AND with a £100 fuel card from Michelin's offer, so effectively paid £490

Be wary of tyres from there though, check DOT numbers, a lot of the cheaper tyres are the older 2011/2012 manufactured ones, personally I wouldn't run these on mine as tempting as the price is.

Old tyres (even though never mounted and used) can potentially cause blow outs

I'm about 700miles into a new set of F1's and loving them! I came from work continental contisport contact 2's and imo the goodyears are way better - quieter, less(no) squeel and generally give me more confidence in all conditions.

Yeah i dont drive it on the grip limit every day but i've yet to find a situation where the tyres caused me any concern. You'll love em!

Checked mine to. Pretty similar for two of them and the other two are from the last weeks of 2013?

Would it not be against the law for these places to sell anything that was out of date so to speak?

I text two friends who also got tyres from tyre leader this year and they both came back with theirs being made in 2015.
