I'm in the same boat as Mike as well. One side of my front camber is a degree out and I only have the kW springs fitted. I'll be buying a set of the adjustable arms in the near future.

I'm no expert but I don't understand why you would need them with coilovers and not lowering springs assuming the springs can lower as much as the coilovers.
A drop is a drop, lowering is what changes the camber, makes no difference if its just springs or coilovers

Yes, to a degree.

Different suspension setups like the mcpherson inherently increase camber with a drop, multi-link systems like the RS4 don't suffer from this. Before someone jumps down my throat, I'm simply regurgitating what Unit 20 told me when I questioned them about fitting adjustable top arms at the same time as the KW spring kit.

Peoples issues subsequent to lowering may be a combination of other things such as worn bushes, tracking etc etc. Im getting the tracking done on mine after everything has been fitted (new top arms, KW adjustable spring kit), so i'll be reducing the propensity for uneven wear quite substantially there.

Once you lower a car everything changes , bushes take more strain and with the RS4 they suffer from top arm bushes so change them at the same time .

Don't agree at all I'm afraid, my b7 wanted for nothing, I replaced all the front arms, I also had a 4 wheel alignment every 6 months, as this goes out easily and needs checking regularly
My b8 was dropped at 10k no worn bushes, you need to be able to adjust the top arms to get the correct camber, it's impossible to do this with the oem setup, as lowering puts this out I would like to know how you get round this??

I was looking through old paperwork that came with my car, 4 top arms were fitted in 2011 at 37.4k miles

Part numbers were 8E4 407 505Q, 506Q, 509Q and 510Q, and they all cost £70.93 +VAT each

On the same receipt I also noticed the dealer used Mobil 1 for the service, I thought they used Castrol Edge?

+1
When I had my springs fitted, I had new shocks and new top arms fitted at the same time, and all by the experts at Unit 20.
