They mentioned the kits part number but I have to go up there during the week. they said its the most popular fitted by Rs4 owners so that's good for me . the DRC system and standard shocks are to unreliable for me

Im now in need of the front upper arms , 2 each side as I want to polybush the new arms before fitting . If you have changed these items where did you get them from ??

Is there much difference between the Audi items £96 each and aftermarket ?? Remember in going to replace the large bush .

I'd say looking at the users on this forum, the KW V3 is by far the most popular coilovers for the RS4, Bilstein are in very low numbers.
And are you aware the cheaper Bilstein is not fully adjustable? I seem to remember there is something that you can't adjust on them that the more expensive ones and the KWs allow you to do.

For top arms, I don't really recall seeing any aftermarket ones other then the Febi or lemforder (or whatever theyre called) who make the OEM ones. The only aftermarket ones I've seen after the adjustable ones.

Yeah pretty sure they are the same as oem. That's a good price.
There was a big thread on here with a user (Roy) getting them through his business. If you can find that thread there's probably lots of good info.

And from being under the car today it looks like you have to remove the shock to get the arms off ??

There was nothing wrong with mine but as I was having my lowering springs fitted and having 1 failed shock replaced as well as another 2 as a precaution I thought I might as well have the arms done at the same time as it wouldn't really cost any more in labour, just parts. However, I've gone through a set of tyres prematurely due to too much camber on the front. I wish someone had told me to fit adjustable ones instead at the time beciase it looks like ill be ripping the recently fitted ones out now (well not so recent now, nearly 2 years ago).

So hard to say if they made a difference as they weren't worn and I had new shocks and springs fitted at the same time.

I have a complete set of DRC v3 SS+ shocks and springs sat in my garage which are obviously of no use to me any more... They were perfect when i removed them, i only swapped to the KWv3's to lower the front...
