Macan is lovely, but the SQ5 is a bargain by comparison!

Any daily drivers in mind when the second RS has gone?

Macan interior is in a different league though.

I sway like a tree in the wind at the moment, this morning's latest idea:

Sell both RS4's

LPG a R32 Golf or R36 Passat for daily duties and then the weekend car a BMW 1M or TVR Cerbera. 8)
Sepang Blue B8 RS4, MY14, All option packs, B&O, Adv Key, Adapt Cruise, Pan Roof, Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust, + more.

Sit in a Macan then tell me SQ5 is a bargain. Reality is there's no comparison. And with the Porsche you get proper customer service and a three hour drive at their Silverstone centre.

Mates dad recently took delivery of a Macan, I need to keep pestering him to have a sit in it! Saw one at Le Mans last year (few around with Porsche returning to LMP) and it looked great

Yes, Blue one will be sold before reaching 70k which is another 12k away yet. I do still have an active search on very low mileage RS4's though.

A Macan daily would be nice, don't go drive one though as the Man Maths might be actioned to start crunching the numbers.

Thing is you'll have to wait so frigging long to place the order that man maths reversal is possible.

The F-Pace is aiming to take some of the pie from the Macan as the 'performance cross over'

It'll have to go some to be better, though I can imagine it'll take some sales due to volume that Porsche are making available.

F-Pie based on Evoque?

I dunno if it will be "better" but it's certainly benchmarked against it in every way

No it's not based on Evoque.

Based on all new XE Alu platform which if you read the XE press drives were pretty glowing

For me there are only 2 engine configurations worthy of consideration (in order of preference):
- a V; preferably a V8 or V10 as I love the "growl" of a V8 and the off-beat note of a V10 from the half-orders but the scream of a V12 doesn't do it for me.
- an in-line with an odd number of cylinders; which means an I3 or an I5 - because I enjoy the off-beat sound from the half-orders you get from an odd number of cylinders (especially if it's from a short wheelbase Sport Quattro).

So what engines do the cars in our house have? - 2 I3's and a V8 :beerchug:
Gone: 2006 B7 RS4 Avant (Phantom Black)
