+1

My RS4 still makes me smile like a Cheshire Cat every time I drive it, even after 8 1/2 years of owning it (something no other car has done, I normally get bored after 6 months).
Know what you mean PD. I've only had mine for 2 years; still love it. Open the door, the smell of the leather hits you (), thumb the starter button and hear that lovely V8 burst into life. When I first got it I used to find I was pootling along at 60 only to look down and see the clock at 80-90 :D

Have to say that the R32 is still a great looking/sounding car though (as long as it's not been dubbed)

On average like Mike experienced I get 120 on a full tank driving around London. This week got out of London a bit and just filled up a few mins back and it was on 159 miles when I zero'd it :-) Just fun to listen to, drive and look at. Enjoy your new car... oh and at £1.18 at the pump happy days :-)

It was £1.11 for Momentum this morning. Took a look over at the car next to me and they paid £1.01 per litre!!!! Almost back to the strike days prices from about 14 years ago.

You mean you can afford to fill a tank :))
in the last eleven odd years i have learnt to ignore all mpg figures,, ( well since i went audi)

I here you all mention R32s and my mate keeps telling me how his is faster and i do love well letting him stay on my bumper lol..
He got some porsche brakes on it and kept telling me how he was catching me up on cylinders blar blar blar,,,
Let him carry on for a week before i finally told him they was eight pots. ( not that that actually means any thing)
/but i hope you keep posting on r32 forums how awesome the rs4 is Please :)

Why the link to my thread?

'This $hit weekly' seems to mean it's a commonly asked subject, which it might be, but is something people want advice on.

Ive had 280 and my worst is 90 at Bedford autodrome

Avg I wouldn't really know , I don't really take much notice and the mpg computer is just useless unless on a run lol .

I wouldn't want to use it everyday ,not through being skint but id just get fucked off filling up every 2/3 days :<beep>_you:

I paid £590 3 months ago (they're now £646), then get down to your local tyre place and whack them on for £10 a corner :)
