Nom nom nom

Booked in Wednesday for :

- oil change & filter
- clean k&n and Gruppe M
- change of brake fluid
- rear diff and gearbox oil change
- new maf

Few other bits cosmetically I'll have them up when I get her back.

Some more pics of it atm, with new discs pads all round, 2 new drc front shocks and been detailed few times.

Had to travel about 400 mile round trip to play in a golf competition, talked my sister into giving me her a3 with £30 road tax, look at the mpg, I wasn't even trying, what is this witchcraft?

Next on list is front end respray and I'm going to take off all the wheels and clean the arches and shocks until my ocd is satisfied.

Cheers for looking!

Hey there, fello RS4 owner in Norin Iron. I'm in Belfast. Where's home for you? Maybe we'll cross paths at some point. Cars looking good, too bad you've had to spend so much on it initially. I've Phantom Black loon as well. MRC stage II (448ps), revo and CAF, de-cat and tubi style, KW springs, Hotchkis ARB's, Akipol Diff Mount and with custom interior. Have to get pics up at some point. well just saying hi, welcome to the forum.

Hi good to hear from another norn iron owner. That is a tasty list of mods you have! Just outside dungannon! Did you get any of that work done here or was it bought from mainland like that?

Get some pics up! And videos, decat and a tubi, christ?!?!

Just got her back from local porsche indy specialists. Got the following done :

- Clean gruppe m and k&n
- oil change and filter
- fuel filter
- 8 new plugs
- pollen & cabin filter
- rear diff oil and gearbox oil
- new header tank to freshen up the bay
- new maf fitted

Then got some new number plate surrounds and some pressed plates.

Will throw some pics up this evening.

Next on list is all 4 wheels off and arches cleaned, and brakes cleaned then a full polish and possible bring it to a ferrari gt team to get my geo looked at :drink:

Slam it so drives like an italian skip!

I prefer something a bit like this.

All the MRC stuff and exhaust was done before, i've slowly been improving it, Did the Hotchkis ARBS a couple of months back, still got the front one to put on. Kind of liking ease it will oversteer at the minute, i am afraid the front one will balance the car to much and it will be less fun. Just got new top arms fitted along with the Akipol diff mount today. What a difference that has made, only took a small drive but already i've noticed the "slop" people talk about is gone. Wasn't sure if i had a lot of slop before or where it came from since the whole car jerked changing gear or taking the pedal of the gas quickly but know i know, it did big time, now its tight.

Aha, that's Gaz's old car!! I've been wondering where it has been hiding. Still looks spotless.

She still puts a smile on my face every day. Can't say more than that. Those pics where just after a paint correction and one of our experimental nanocoatings for protection. There was a lot of swirls and machining swipes from the previous paint correction, was bad in places under certain light. Looking good now, i'd love to get the front bumper sprayed tho. Intimidating people to get out of your way takes it toll!

Great to hear she is still making you smile buddy and scaring small animals and children when burbling around town ;)

The last paint correction was done at Draykefields as well who is thought of quite highly on here having done a few of the clubs members. Let me know how you get on with the nanocoating as mine will be due a detail soon and if its worth the extra pennies I am always willing to go the extra mile.

Who would you recommend over here for a front end respray and full paint correction mate?

The guy that did mine doesn't do respray, just paint correction and enhancements but i'd thoroughly recommend him. Peter at PMG Autocare. Find him on facebook https://www.facebook.com/pmgautocareni?fref=ts. He's a bit of a perfectionist and know his stuff. Get the front resprayed and then take it to him to get the rest done, get a last step etc. He's easy enough to pay as well. Tell him I referred you.

Undergoing a major detail ATM. Car has never been polished. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Small update have a updated Rns from Faisal I'm going to install this weekend.

Also bought 4 standard rs4 alloys from him refurbished in gunmetal grey, have a set of michelin pilot alpine winter tyres to go on for the winter.

Watch this space!
