Re: Aaarggghhh mice!
I had the same thing in the same place a few years ago. Could easily be much worse though, I remember mice ate a huge hole out of my lotus Sunbeam seats many years ago.

Re: Aaarggghhh mice!
Sorry to drag up an old thread but did you manage to sort this?
Re: Aaarggghhh mice!
Near 2 year thread resurrection! perhaps a "cat" back system would have sorted it......
Sprint Blue B7 RS4 - Black/Titanium optics, Anthracite OEM 19's, De-resonated OEM Exhaust, TTRS FBSW, MRC Stage 2 De-flapped manifold, Full Carbon Clean, MRC Stage 2 Re-map, 431.5 BHP...... must...not...spend....more...
Re: Aaarggghhh mice!
Brilliant and timely ressurection.
Checking fluid levels before passing the car to my wife as I go on another offshore trip (mental I know, but whenever I come back the sport button is on and the ESP is off, I think she enjoys it more than I do!) when I noticed the exact same situation. Nibbles out of the insulation on the bulkhead and some of the braiding chewed on a hose under the carbon trim at the back.
Wife put some traps down and caught one mouse, two robins and a sparrow. One of the robins was still struggling. Seems all these creatures like peanut butter (they're welcome to it).
She was pretty upset at the massacre (over the top?) of the garden birds and rightly so. Seems a bit rude to be feeding them on the bird feeders with one hand then callously slaughtering them with the other. When I ventured this to my wife I was not popular.
So, I bought another bird feeder and a sack of bird feed from amazon and got an ultra-sonic pest scarer thing that I shall put near where we park the car. I wouldnt mind so much if they had a go at the Defender, it's 20 years old and could do with a new loom.
So I told the missus to look out for spurious alarms and faults, or the car just generally electronically misbehaving. Hope it doesnt happen when she's side on heading down to Tescos......
Anyone else with other (proved) solutions?
Cheers
RR
