Brake fluid flush

Post by Rick_RS4 » Tue Dec 09, 2014 3:25 pm

I'm changing the lines on my 7 when it goes in for the mot and have the fluid changed at the same time. I was thinking of using a ate super blue so I can see it's been done correctly how many litres will I need to do a full flush? Or should I just stock to oe? As the slave will want bleeding too and they might not mix well?

Cheers

As Ate blue makes it a bit easier you'll prob get away with a litre

I was just wondering the exact same thing. It's amazing the info you can find on here by searching!

Yes I'm doing exactly the same. I ordered 2 litres or ATE type 200 (blue) earlier. Are you saying order 2litres to be safe or I should order a further litre (ie 3 in total).

maybe 3 to be on the safe side

i checked mine after and saw yellow in the res, then thought wtf ive been done, only to read on the web that ATE are no longer alowed to sell it in blue for the states laws or something, so i calmed down after that lol
