Hi all,new to the forum. I recently purchased an RS4 saloon in mugello blue had a nightmare at first with it but ive got there in the end after lots of work :(,anyway ive been looking into changing the standard exhausts for something abit more aggressive, after looking through here and various videos on YouTube ive found something that I think suits what im after,it is milltek non-resonated centre sections (easy to find) and tubi rumore back boxes. After looking absolutely everywhere I can on the internet I cannot find the back boxes anywhere does anyone know of anywhere? or anyone that maybe selling some? or any maybe that are similar which are easier to find?
next question is a front splitter, again ive looked around the internet with not much luck. Theres a few on ebay but im not convinced by them most don't even show an example on the car, anyone tried any of them or know any that are nice?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Craig

I have milltek decat downpipes, and a complete milltek non-res non-valved system. It's LOUD... Like "I wouldn't want to drive the car past midnight for fear of lynching in the village" loud.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EN380E-duQM

The rumore is MUCH louder. You really need to hear one in person before pulling the trigger. If you have neighbours, prepare to be stoned/flogged regardless of the time of day. I genuinely thought I wanted the loudest thing possible but even I'm not convinced any more about the rumores because they're too much.

Think carefully - it's an expensive "mistake" if you're not happy.

I didn't think too loud was possible haha I had an rs6 a few years ago with a full milltek on it and that was loud, but the sound of the rumore sounds like the devil has come to play I suppose though like you say to hear on in person is a completely different animal to watching the videos plus having to live with it day to day, hmmmmm decisions decisions

Talking to the guys at Revolution the other day I'm pretty sure they can do the whole APR catalogue

I'll try and get a decent video of my Tubi setup later tonight if it stops raining

Like Ross said, I strongly advise you hear a Rumore in the flesh before ordering it. Anyone, and I do mean anyone who heard Mikefish's when he had this on his would agree. Think of the loudest road car you have ever heard and then add some DBs on top of that haha!

Haha see I like the sound of that, I want it to sound really aggressive like the c63 kind of sound, more brutal and more hooligan if im honest. But like you guys say its something I have to live with so hearing one properly would help before taking the leap. The millteks always sound nice I cant deny that but they are not the kind of sound im after I don't think. Anyone had any experience with an aftermarket splitter?

maybe go custom? i had my car at an Exhaust Fabricator (torque technique) earlier in the year as i was having him look at the flexi connectors on my exhaust. he has built exhausts for 30yrs or so and said he could have built me a much better system than the Milly for about £700. i would have been apprehensive but you should hear Novyjats RS5 (have a look in the RS5 Section) - this is a custom for about £600-£700 and it honestly puts my Milltek to shame in both volume and tone of the sound.
