Looking at gauges seems more of a safety concern to me than having both hands and a phone on the wheel thus actually having your eyes on the road the entire time. But then everyone's different. In these 6 seconds no vital gauges are going to do anything out of the ordinary and a major issue like water leak or oil pressure issue will give a loud beep.

There is no way to accurately time it by start/stopping at 3 and 8 eyeballing it during the run. Hence the 12 percent deviation you got between runs.

I'm not a fan of JHM but their results are solid. At the end of the day their stuff just works without expensive custom mumbo jumbo. Works as advertised as shown in sar's video.

Yes I came across it on flea bay, but a far better deal if you talk direct to the supplier/Installer :sekret: :biggrin3:

I think the mistake I made was posting a result on my 1st couple of runs, when I have some experience of the set up, run several runs over a variation of conditions then release the " video's" and then select the best

I did not try with sports button or run it at 2 degrees ambient,

So I feel convinced I can achieve a run of around 5 sec's, maybe get it under :FIREdevil:

I have been communicating with Sar and I know he's done an ace job, total respect for him and his car :beerchug:

But JHM are not for me

Ps my aim was/is not to have the fastest car but to enjoy the fun of driving an "old" B7 with the horses :thumb:

I think my car back in the day posted best RS4 qtrs on a tts. It makes 630...
I don't think you'll get it below 5 :-)
Probably not much lower than you've already timed.

Haha.
Yep. Laid down.

I bought the car as is. A lot of time and effort went into it by a member on here and apart from internals/ nitrous etc the thought at the time was that this was max on the TTS kit.
Things may have moved on.. I think lost come out with 610.

It needs more torque tbh. Rather than headline power.. My opinion anyway

Not a chance really. Well not without a steep downhill. The average time of a TTS'd car is about 6 seconds. Going from 6 to 5 is almost as much of an improvement as going from 7.5 (NA) to 6 (SC).

As has been pointed out the cars just "lack" the torque to significantly improve the 3-8K times. The run starts too low down and most of the time is spent below optimum revs. Turbos would help :)
