I've made the move from B7 RS4 to C63 and as Toshers say's above, they're 2 different cars and you'll need to jump in one to see if its for you.

My thread here: viewtopic.php?f=71&t=108499

Comparison wise, the Audi interior is far superior to the Mercs.
Dials, buttons etc in the Audi are just made with a better grade of plastic than the Mercs, thats no to say the Merc is the cheapest plastic available (i.e. Jap cars) but it is - IMO - cheaper than Audi.

I loved the bucket seats with the racing harness slots in my RS4 - not an option with the C63 unfortunately although the seats are still very huggy.

Tech such as full iPod integration and all other manner of driver assists is handy but not really a deal breaker.
The Linguatronic system (Like Siri) is actually really good and 'learns' your voice / dialect over time; it has no problems understanding me and I'm a chinese scotsman!

On the road, the torque available is unreal but you do have to be ready to dial in some opposite lock if you're pushing on through tight corners but thats to be expected being a RWD.
I guess the same can be said if you were going down the M3 or AM path.

The only reason I sold the RS was because it was starting to show its age (the list of advisories from Audi after its last service supported that) and I felt the market price at the time I sold was as good as it was going to get.

Had Audi released a saloon variant of the B8 I would have stayed loyal but I had no requirement for an Avant.

Drove the old mans C63 a few times, the power and noise is addictive but overall, for me atleast, I prefer the RS4 as an overall package, the Audi seems better quality and the interior is a lot nicer although the tech is very dated these days

C63 at 22k must be a cat c or d with now wheels!!!!!
If was the bargain of the year, it would have been sold though the trade.

Well I have a c63 2013 with PPP and may look at upgrading to a new RS 6 very soon

Good luck with that. There's no pricing or spec. Deliveries not expected until late 1Q15 at the very best.
