I stand to be corrected but I think the trims will have stayed on - the trims are easy to remove except the rearmost side windows - you need to remove the glass for this if I remember so it's a real pain/expensive job (especially if Audi do it!).

Keep them on, bit of a nightmare to take off, easy to destroy them. Retro-fitting black optics is a pain (if that's what you want to do) since the black optics is a completely different rear quarter window. Pretty much why a number of us have wrapped ours. Kudos to Rob though as his looks near perfect. I gave up as it was so fiddly :)

Yes the window trims stayed on, so a fiddly job to get right, but they have done a good job of it....
