If your prone to parking in areas where there is a lot of trees you can often find the scuttle panel under the bonnet blocked with leafs which can cause the water to leak in to the cabin, this happened with my mates A4 all road
RS4 B7 Saloon Milltek Cat back, CAF with piper cross panel, Wrapped optics black, Satin black wheels, TRUPS LED front DRL's & sides, goodridge braided hoses, H&R 10/15mm spares front/rear
Bilstien B16 coilovers with H&R anti roll bars
MRC stage 2 deflapped, precat gutted 439ps 481nm torque
1/4 mile time 12.884sec

My clutch replacement write up can be found here viewtopic.php?f=35&t=116929&start=15

Just took a look and no leaves.......but after investigating I'm pretty sure due to fact the car was parked on slight incline and the amount of rain I think the water has built up too much to exit out of the side drain hole and backed up and gone under the polen filter housing that's sealed from the cabin with a poxy bit of foam.......not even a proper seal what a piss poor design from audi :( shocking ......carpets soaked mat took most fortunately and full of electrics under that side bloody hell.

I seem to remember a thread some time ago on here where someone had a problem like yours and it was the T-piece take off for the rear screen wash. Can't be certain, sorry.

Havnt got rear screen wash ?
And yes do have sunroof ....I have blown holes out with air line but I'm 99% sure it's what I mentioned above .....there isn't a seal between pollen filter house an body just a foam dust seal.

I will pull it off tomorrow and see if I can seal it better as I caught it just in time or could have been costly

Hi
Had it on mine, passenger side front carpet wet, watched the water trickling down the plastic trim in a heavy downpour tracked it down to windscreen seal on passenger side, shoddy workmanship when the windscreen was replaced , all sorted now,

There are two drain points in the scuttle panel and silt can plock them up, get a old school coat hanger and straigten it out then poke the holes.
They tend to have a gromit in there and most people just poke them out also a incorrectly fitted pollen filter cover can also cause this issue.
