Epc light solid amber
Epc light solid amber
I recently had my master cylinder changed and the clutch also. It's now difficult to start and the epc light is on solid amber. I've changed both clutch switches also. Car is still difficult to start. It was fine before any of the work being complete. I've not got access to Vag Com right now so any ideas?
Re: Epc light solid amber
I replaced my lower clutch switch just for the sake of it and broke it as I put it in, then broke the old one as I put that one back so now I need another one. This has given me an EPC light permanently lit and I have to hold the starter button until the engine starts. Does yours start without keeping the button pressed?
Re: Epc light solid amber
No it doesn't
Re: Epc light solid amber
Then it sounds like your lower switch is broken.
Re: Epc light solid amber
Well just been out in the car and it's cleared itself up! Epc light is off and starts on first press of the button! Happy days
Re: Epc light solid amber
You got the part numbers for these switches?
Re: Epc light solid amber
I do at home. Actually think I have them in a pm. I'll take a look when I get a chance.
