Strangely enough you make far more torque than me. Actual figure were 448ps and 452ps with 470nm and 476nm

I just remembered I was running 97ron fuel when mine was dyno'd - you've reminded me because I remember that Doug commented I'd have probably made 500nm if I was on the 'correct' fuel. So perhaps I'm losing 5ps or so to the intake, and another 5-10 from the fuel. Maybe there is more to come :D

You're worrying for nothing Ross. With the fuel you'll gain those extra ponies and with a complete decat I would make similar torques :). Healthy pair of engines

The car got collected on Friday for me, took it for a quick spin and all seemed fine.

Later on in the night I drove a further few miles and it started misfiring. Now technology amazes me...

Text my mate with a VCDS programme on his laptop, met me in a carpark in town and by the time he got there he had already text doug from MRC. How incredible is this... we plugged the computer into my car, then plugged my iPhone into the computer to give it an internet connection and Doug logged into the computer from his desk in Oxford over 100 miles away!

I could see him flicking through all the prgrammes and basically the one lambda we hadnt changed was reading incorrectly. Unfortunately I had to take her back AGAIN. MRC have sinced changed the lambda and now all seems fine. Hopefully get it back later in the week.

I want to clarify this isn't MRC making any cock ups, just a very complicated fault caused by a bloke who fitted my clutch.

So far my mate has cost me

2 x ECU
All four lambda
Wiring repair
Crank sensor he broke doing the clutch
Battery
£500 for doing the job in the first place and breaking it
£400 to deliver and collect the car

Best part of £3grand there

Can't comment yet on the upgrades but it did sound incredible, a noticable improvement on drone by fitting the 200 cell sports cats and with the opening flaps it is a noticable improvement on the tone of the car and also a noticable improvement in quietness when the flaps are shut. I would highy recommend sports cats and a flapped exhaust. For those worrying it may be too loud, it isn't... definitely won't upset any neighbours
