Just picked up the beast after having it de-coked and compressions tested.
367bhp before and 410bhp after. Pretty pleased with that as i don't think its been re-mapped.
They also replaced a couple of valves due to corrosion.
Full oil change as well and car sounds and runs amazing.

In sweden there are almost no workshops experienced enough to do a de-coke. There is one but they take around 3000euros for it

Took a week but I had other maintenance work done at the same time. Very happy with the outcome.

Must have had a vacuum leak previously also to recover that much lost power. Those photos don't look TOO bad :p Just be prepared for it to look like that again in 18 months! Car will thank you in other ways too now - smoother running and better mpg.

I do find it hard to believe that a simple de-coke which will restore flow can produce such massive BHP gains.
I'm new to RS4's and follow all this stuff.
Tel me about the vacuum leaks. How do they get diagnosed? Seem like a regular issue with these cars.

Afternoon All,
Just to confirm, this car did have vac leak issues, the N335 valve (pictured above in the last image) had failed, so the recouped power was due to the decoke and fixing the vac problem.
HTH,
Ben

Any ideas what the valve controlled, is it the airbox one?
