Nills, go for the springs mate. They’ll be fine I’m sure (and if not, then go with coil-overs).

TT Shop or whatever they’re called, near Bedford will fit them for less than the £500 you’ve been quoted... and they’ve done lots apparently.
(they quoted me less than that “with” the springs)

Ps... knew you couldn’t stay away for that long :-)

I'd prefer the spring option to be honest, as now I've moved, the speed bumps around here are small mountains, and I really can't be arsed for low cars and the aggro that comes with them anymore, one of the reasons why I went with air suspension on my B5 widebody.

Air would be awesome on the B7 but I don't think I can justify spending £££££s on another suspension setup!

Fitting the springs isn't the issue, it's having to discharge and then recharge the DRC after that bumps the cost up.
