Re: tyres?
I have one RS4 on GY F1 and the other on Michelin PS3, I personally prefer the Michelin tyres. However, I only run these tyres for 6 months of the year as I then swap over to winter tyres which far out perform summer tyres in the cold/wet winter weather we have.

Re: tyres?
To be honest Jay, outright grip is pretty much equal between them both.geordie jay wrote:why do you prefer the michelins sam?
However, the GY F1's I've found to be a little embarrassing when nipping up the inside on a roundabout, as it makes you look like a 'boy racer' when they start to squeal. The Michelins are barely audible when grip is near to being lost. I also prefer the stiffer sidewall of the Michelin Pilot Sports as they squirm less under hard braking and I also find that the tread pattern and the stiffer sidewall gives greater confidence in high speed cornering.
I do stress that this is all in summer time weather. Historically I've been very disappointed when the sub-zero temps arrive and the summer performance tyres go rock hard offering little grip.
As they say in Formula 1 - you need to be on the right tyre, for the right weather conditions.
