Front pads

Post by mustdash » Wed Sep 17, 2014 4:51 pm

So, I'm in the process of getting all the bits together to change discs and pads all round. Prices for front pads I've found have varied from £270 at Stoke Audi down to £116 from Euro Car Parts. Then today GSF hit me with a full set of front pads for £54!! I am of the 'buy it cheap, buy it twice' mentality, however was wondering if anyone had any experience of these pads (I don't know what make they are)? If I was in the same situation on my previous car (2012 Renault Megane Sport) I would probably take a punt, but at £300 per disc I would like to pick the collective knowledge on here first, before buying them!

And for the record, I will be getting the discs from Stoke Audi as they are the cheapest I've found (even taking in to consideration the Euro Car Parts sale!)

Cheers!

I recently changed my discs & pads (discs from Stoke Audi as well) but bought Ferodo pads. Fronts were £80.48 & rears £45.79. Work really well with the standard discs, but I don't really drive the car hard very often.

Got my rears off Amazon FDB1655 I think was the code for the rears & the fronts from http://www.kimbercarparts.co.uk, had them on the shelf & received them next day FDB4165 was the code for the fronts.
