Alloy refurb and new colour

Post by Silverfox42 » Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:55 pm

A change from standard - a near gun-metal colour done today, inspired by the colour of a set a forum member was looking sell recently. Pleasing.

Should I get the wing mirrors done to match? Not sure...

Very similar colour to mine. Looks nice. Keep the mirrors standard IMO.

Thanks Ross, I have done for now but am investigating changing to black optics all round (which I know doesn't include mirror housing) but might give it more of a 'collars and cuff's' look.

If you post a photo of your car as is, I'll photoshop the mirrors the same colour if you want?

Black with black optics looks cool.
I always thought i'd keep my mirrors alu rather than go black, but Rick's car does look menacing with those black mirrors.
