This topic's just reminded me I need to change my fuel filter, it's done 141k miles on the original I think, there's no service invoice that says it's been changed

I did a trip from Birmingham to Winchester once and stuck to a very boring 60 mph and managed 28mpg. No fun though.

I quite often travel from the South to NW Wales, I can only make fuel saving mode last until about 5 miles up the M40. It's just too dull siting on the inside lane.

Best I've managed is around 350 to a tank with about 15 miles left on the trip, this was made up from 60/40 Motorways and Welsh A roads.
