fuel gauge?

Had me rs4 now for a week and going to work this morning and fuel light came on.just wondering is there a menu to go into that tells you how many miles left in tank? If not what sort of distance you looking at when light comes on

Dude, your computer tells u the miles left. Press + or - on the wheel.
As for how many miles in the reserve, don't do it it will be all the dirty fuel at the bottom.

If I remember correctly the computer stops giving the distance left once the yellow light comes on.

You might be right Mike, although I thought it was >10 miles and then you loose the readout. I just remember once in deepest Wales when I needed it the most, the counter then decides to leave you high and dry, fortunately for me I did make it to the V-power pump.
Since then, I always now plan my fuel stops when heading out into the more remote places.

Yes i agree..dont want to be sucking up all the crap at bottom of tank but turned key this morning on me way to work and light came on..im only a 5min drive to some rocket fuel so no harm done..just really wanted to know..cheers fellas

The miles left is still there when the light comes on, I think it's 25 it comes on at and I've (only because I'm an idiot) have seen it get to 0.

yep I've had it down to 5 or 6 (not planned - fuel station was out of fuel when I got to it so had to crawl to another!)

just wondering fellas how much is v power where you live just filled up and its £135.9 gallon in newcastle,would be interesting to see how much it is round country.

Not so long ago I was at 137.9 down here but prices have dropped back now, so probably around the same figure of 1.34/5. I try not to pay too much attention to fuel now and just fill it up until it clicks.

We have a bp garage up here in Aberdeen that charges 144.9 for 95!
