Well getting manifold off was easy enough didn't need any special tools either you don't need fuel pipe spanners a regular 14 and 17 will do it a 30 torx bit and 10mm spanner for the rear bolts.

What a mess Jesus I was gonna walnut blast it but it's soft and sticky so I think brake cleaner and rags for a minute

What's the story with the separators in the ports do are most people bin them or clean
and putting them back in?

I have just done this. I think the only benifit of leaving them out is just 1 less part to clean next time
