Re: spare wheel
Bought them separately, as the first wheel I got was an 18" but wouldn't clear even the rear calipers.geordie jay wrote:Dave when you got wheel from audi did you get jack etc with it or do you have to buy that seperate mate

Just get a good breakdown cover and chill, no worries tbh better than getting covered in crap, jacking the car up rd side, it worked out better for me doing that the other week

Re: spare wheel
you can have wheel changed in 20mins quicker than recovery and cheaper lol
Re: spare wheel
Did read somewhere years ago that on average you only get three punctures in the total time you will have driven ... this is now my 5th in 30 years.to be fair Audi/RAC did try to get a new tyre fitted but was a bit late. The chap from E tyres did moan his bits off when he found out it was full of grey liquid.geordie jay wrote:Thats what im worried about.i do night shift sometimes starting/ finishing 2am3am and 4am in morning need a back up incase it happens.i been driving 26yrs and only had 1 puncture.now i really tempted fate saying that havent i !!! Re: spare wheel
Fine if you're in a well populated area, but we tend to go on holiday to quite isolated places - one day last year in France we went almost 100 miles without seeing another car and without any mobile coverage, we need to be as self-sufficient as possible.RIV wrote:Just get a good breakdown cover and chill, no worries tbh better than getting covered in crap, jacking the car up rd side, it worked out better for me doing that the other week
