Had a go this morning and got just a little over 180 indicated, it may have had a few mph left but it really felt like it had ran out of puff. My mate was following for a bit and said there was a lot of black puffs out of the back and I had a really close one at circa 170 when someone in a van went to pull out on me. I've watched it back on the go pro and it's made me feel a bit funny so don't think I'll be doing that again haha

Got 190mph on the clock this afternoon on the A2 to Berlin, there was a little more in it but I ran out of clear road. I will try again on the way home on Friday morning. Should have more opportunity of a clear run as it's a bank holiday over here in Germany.

And before any smart arse comments about footage. It's dangerous enough going that fast without having to hold your iPhone just to prove some doubting twats wrong. :bash:

I've got some Go Pro footage from the dash but nothing of the speedo, but the speed I go past other cars you can see I'm not hanging around ha

I've got some simulation software and for a bog standard RS4's numbers:
100-150 (through gears starting in 4th) is about 16 seconds and 3100ft (about 2/3 mile).
150-170 starting in 5th is about 19 seconds and 4700ft (about 0.9 miles).
170-180 (in 6th obviously ;)) is about 25 seconds and 6700ft (about 1.24 miles).

So about 60 seconds and not quite 3 miles.
(remember this would be real speed not speedo ;))

That black stuff is likely to be all the carbon being set free :)
If you see a car on the dyno the amount of <beep> that first comes out is frankly astounding.

Yeah i thought it was that, loads must have come out as the car just felt so much smoother and faster after, was like a mini carbon clean :)

I'm a doubting tw.at that if you saw 190 on your speedo you need it re calibrated

There's plenty of iphone type speed measuring apps available
I used one at Vmax and it was spot on with their radar trap speeds, so they're more accurate than the rs4 speedos

I think you need your attitude recalibrating :bash:
If you think I'm going to risk my life just to prove you wrong you really are a tw4t.
The speedo showed 190 MPH and that's it. I don't need anyones confirmation, let alone yours.
