That instantly makes it extremely dangerous, reckless, driving without due care etc.... yet in Germany it is perfectly safe... strange world we live in!

Exactly - crazy lol

On a related note, I saw a fairly knarly video of a friend of a friend who had an accident on the autobahn at 200+ mph. :( Testomony to the build quality of the car and the roll cage etc, no one died. But it's a pretty horrible accident when you're doing 200+ and someone pulls out on you at 70mph with 200ft or so of notice... :(

Won't do 200mph, 193 is where it will go to. That was with 640ps

The best bet for this is when you leave the ring to head home on the 258 backwards the A1.


You join the A1 right at the biggining of it, and its derestricted....its straight as hell and if its early evening its quiet.

Only 2lanes mind, so watch out.

Many times I've vmax'd my car there.

Remember once chasing a Bike of some description in a TTRS, full vmax, hit the 155 limiter and the bike was long gone...

^ last trip I did last month with bam_bam in toe we vmaxed a SEAT Alhambra

A mahoosive 121mph....

lovely! there for a couple of nights so might venture out for it, trying it on a saturday afternoon a few weeks ago proved difficult

I'll be at the ring from 19, 20 and 21st Sept and staying in Cologne.
Get the A257 from Adenau onto the A61 which is unrestricted in long enough stretches.
