As much as I think the cradle is an eye saw lol I do find it very handy! I have the iphone 5 adaptor and it's very useful

You do realise that the Bluetooth is hands-free only and doesn't support audio streaming? (and even if it did as the connection between the BT module and the RNS-E is low bandwidth - 300-3kHz - and mono the sound quality would be appalling).

As Dave mentions, it's simply a handy charger and indeed a way of holding the phone in your peripheral vision - period.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't even help bump the signal strength as it's digital...
