I had a decoke, pre-cats removed, Miltek and stage 2 map at AmD about 2 years ago.

I've done over 20,000 miles since then with no problems or issues at all (that could be attributable to that work) - car is very smooth (especially from cold, which some seem to suffer with) and I get about 40-50 more miles out of a tank than i did before. Performance is more than adequate!

They also did a perfectly good job of replacing my clutch and flywheel at an excellent price. I will certainly be going back there for another decoke and health check in the future.

Your lucky then, there's a few people who went to their rolling Rd day who would give a different story
Thing is you know no better than the work they have done on your car to compare too

Sutts, I get lots more MPG after MRC Black magic, not that it's ever been a concern but now is just running sweeter and its just a result of the decoke too, loving the map / sport button now

That's true that I haven't compared their specific work with MRC, but then I don't feel I have the need to - it's quick, reliable and was all done at a good price.

Perhaps I was lucky, perhaps others have been unlucky?

Very true and if they have done a good job for you why go somewhere else, I just know a few people from the box hill meets who would tell a different story, and if anyone wanted advice on the forum I would point them in MRC's direction, they transformed my b7 and their's was the 3rd map I had, just wouldn't want others to have problems :beerchug:

That's very fair - we can only talk from our own experiences I guess :beerchug:
