Better turn the volume up! Sweet Jesus! That exhaust alone must be 3 times the cost of the car - but worth every penny!

wow, how is that even possible!!
talking about exhaust systems. what would happen if i removed the mid "muffler"? and replaced it with straight pipes? Image

Anyone done this before? I think, even with flaps open, the rs4 sounds abit too little. I'd love having the YHperformance one but i cannot get in touch with them.

sounds good but it looks small diameter its not got v bands, they are cut bends not mandrel towards the headers, it has cross flow between banks but its through a silencer, wont be the best for flow.

but sounds mental on full chat

Yes, lot's of us have done it and it's a very cheap mod. It's often referred to as centre silencer or resonators.

I actually don't like it - it sounds false and almost artificial

Just love the sound of a V12 :jump_clap:

Always fancied getting an 850 CSI and doing something similar to get that 'supercar' sound.

That sounds great Rick. What's the spec on your exhaust? Need to get mine a bit noisier :D

A C63 AMG blasted past me a few weeks ago on Leeds. Sounded bloody epic; just can't like the looks

Sorry mate but as much as I love the sound of our cars in different stages of tune, that Merc's sound is spine tingling.

I'd put money on no one guessing what car that is with no video! Lol

Exactly my thoughts. It's two banks of 6 cylinders, probably 3L each bank revving to 7200 rpm, and from the looks of it, it is being choked with 2.25 or at best 2.5" piping.

Sounds crazy right enough though. Maybe a bit too crazy.

Sounds like a Pagani Zonda, wonder if the engine is related?
