HEL Brake Lines Ordered - Pad & Fluid Advice for Nurbo Trip?

Post by j1sgo » Fri Jul 25, 2014 12:35 pm

Hey All,

Ordered some transparent red brake lines today, just looking to get the brakes ready for the Ring next month  , proposals so far as below, any advice would be mucho appreciated:

Transparent HEL brake lines to front/rear
New pads to front & rear - Oem or aftermarket? I was thinking OEM as I don't do much track driving unless some has had better experiences.
Renew Fluid - Following a search I was thinking to go with Motul RBF600
New set of GYEF1 extra load tyres to ruin :boohoo:

Anything I have missed or should do?

Thanks in advance,

Steve
Now - Audi SQ5 Plus and planning future A3 3.2 DSG Turbo Project ;)
2011 - 2016 - Daytona RS4 Avant SS+ - Mods: K&N, CAF, Fixed Valves, 2013 RNSE, 8mm Spacers All Round, Carbon Clean, Stage 2 MRC Manifold, Gutted Cats, MRC Stage 2 - 437ps 472Nm
2010 - 2011 Audi 3.0 Q /sport (220bhp)
2003 - 2011 Vauxhall Astra GSI Turbo (340bhp)
2000 - 2003 Vauxhall Astra Sport 2.0 16v 150bhp

I did HEL lines and some ATE Blue race fluid (yes it's blue and some don't like it) and it made a noticeable difference - worth doing in my opinion...
