Nothing really compares

Post by Noyjatat » Wed Jul 23, 2014 8:49 pm

Weird to find that a little over six months after having to sell my car I am on the road back to getting another one. Been looking hard at whether to come back to the B7 RS4 fold and have been test driving some of my other options both in and out of the Audi range. Strange thing is all of them come up short of the full package that the B7 is. So fingers crossed early next year I will be back in the fold with another custom exhaust, re trimmed interior and trip to MRC on the books.

Six months to work out which colour this time. Last time was black, but leaning towards Mugello or silver this time although not the Avus silver, the brighter one.

Keep grumbling guys and hope to see you all at box hill or an AMD RR day again soon.

Ouch 5 R8's is a lot of pennies. How come 5 of them?

I do love them but I don't have that amount of money buddy.

i go through this dilemma about every 6 months, but as yet nothing has swayed me to remove the B7 from my life.
R8 would do the trick I think, but my twin 7 year olds would fight constantly about who got to go in it!

Good luck with the search, and a post dated 'welcome back/FON'!

Just to clarify my title statement. I mean in relationship to cars available at a similar value.

RIV, I'm touched!

It may be 7/8 years old, but little in in my humble opinion comes close to a B7 RS4...

That brighter one - Audi Metallic Silver. :thumb:

To be honest even above its price range it punches quit high.

I have given up so going for a two seater!

A lovely looking motor Neil. Could you post some more images from different angles for me please buddy?

Fair one Ads. I am happy to say I am a saloon guy. So no pangs for two seaters.

RIV, I'm touched!
It's the best condition of any saloon I've seen
Nearly as good as my old Avant :bigblink:
