A bit of a late update but I've now swapped the bulbs left to right to see if the dead bulb goes with it and it doesn't. It stays on the left. Have had a multimeter on it too and the reverse bulb connections read the same left and right as the battery does. Puzzled to say the least. Any more ideas chaps?

I still have the standard lights obviously and may swap back. I was only 80% on the looks and the fitment has really disheartened me.
As you say, it's not out by much, I'm sure the saxo crowd wouldn't notice, but... This isn't a saxo and I'm as OCD as the next RS owner!

Every time I see the mis fitting lights a little piece of me dies inside :(

Further update... Tried a stock rear light and the reverse bulb lit up (same bulb carried over from Dectane). So it has to be something to do with the left Dectane itself. Really do not understand how / why as there has no change. Must be one of those random irritating electrical faults that I really don't understand. :bash:

Here's my issue. No matter how much I adjust this is the best I can get.

Sick of it now. Standard lights back on this evening. First time, 5 minute job, no fiddling, perfect fit.

Looks like I'm gonna try and send these back I guess.

Geeze Ross, that's quite bad. Mines no where near as bad as that. I agree, the inner fog units are pants. With that fit, or lack of it, that would bother me enough to sack off LED and go with OEM. Dectane

I've had to dremel one part of my light to fit further in, and pack other bits out with sticky back foam. Fit perfect now as it bugged me too

The light issue is odd, maybe you have a really sensitive can bus.

By real I take it you mean "full size" not a "compact" version?

I mean let's face it - the bmw compact wasn't ever a real hit either. ;)
