I mean let's face it - the bmw compact wasn't ever a real hit either. ;)

Here's my issue. No matter how much I adjust this is the best I can get.

Sick of it now. Standard lights back on this evening. First time, 5 minute job, no fiddling, perfect fit.

Looks like I'm gonna try and send these back I guess.
Geeze Ross, that's quite bad. Mines no where near as bad as that. I agree, the inner fog units are pants. With that fit, or lack of it, that would bother me enough to sack off LED and go with OEM. Dectane
yeah Neil. I've swapped back. Couldn't cope :(

That's better.
So much better standard, those Dectanes looked 'max power' horrible

I think the dark smoke/black lens is a little smacks of that - the Red Crystal are more of a nod to OEM.

The fit is still bothering me - after this thread it bothers me more! :bash:

I see OEM returning... :boohoo:

But then again, it tingles the chav in me! :biggrin2:

B5 - establishing the heritage
B7 - Saloon - Audi's moment of clarity personified and offers wise choice for the discerning RS4 owner
B7 - Avant - Audi's day release is let loose with too much modelling clay and clumps too much at the rear end; creates pie wagon MkI
B8 - Avant only - Audi creates pie Wagon MKII[/quote]

I've only just got back in touch with them. Unfortunately after buying them I went on holiday and didn't fit them for 3 weeks or so, then lived with it for another week or so, before finally emailing them last week saying I couldn't cope with the fitment.

Now I've done back to OEM lights I cant see myself having another set from them tbh so I'm hopeful they'll just allow me to return them for a refund.

Ross - post how you get on - will be interesting. Is this Dectane directly you purchased these from?

I'm bored - all RS4 are great cars, let's just leave it at that.

Some like Avants, some like saloons/sedans and some like Cabrios - but when it comes down to it they're all RS4s so they're all great.

Re Dectane lights - it's disappointing to hear all these fit problems, but I have to say I ruled them out when I found they couldn't be bothered to fit LED reversing lights, if you're going LED then it has to be 100% in my book.

Agreed. LED reverse - why would you stick an incandescent in a LED cluster and call it a LED cluster? :bash:

I had to grab a Trups DRL + canceller kit and add this in place of the incandescent reverse...

Well, they've agreed to a full refund so I guess that's something.

Yeah to be fair, after a month and a bit they were quite within their rights to tell me to jog on! Fair play to them for handling this well :)
