Bought these KW v3's via the forum a while back from YoungBen however once they arrived i was kinda scared to fit them in case they ruined the ride. I had SS+ & the DRC had been previously replaced so all was good but i wasn't happy with the stance as it was a little nose high imo hence wanting the coilovers... Anyways i needn't have worried, the ride is perfect, almost OEM tbh although i have it on a soft setting

.. The rear needs to come up a bit i think but all in all very happy, those that are thinking about it, don't wait, just do it

What made you choose the KW coilover kit and binning the DRC, over getting the KW spring kit which still retains the DRC?

No other reason than they came available at a fair price from a trusted member so i snapped them up... i was also considering the spring kit at the time..

Looks good mate, got the V3's on mine and it's a pretty decent ride, not too harsh at all.
Like those wheels too, waiting for more pics...

Agreed, the ride is not too firm at all. Until you put uprated ARB's on it to cure the high speed body roll....
The DRC really is the best of both worlds when it is working.
Having said that, the car is looking really nice Adrian.
You had the bolsters done yet? After almost a year in sunlight, my seats are almost the same colour as the door cards. Well, not really colour as such, more the finish.

I had SS+ anyway so already have the uprated ARB's... not driven it enthusiastically yet so can't comment on the overall handling vs the DRC..
No not had the bolsters done yet, thankfully they're not too bad however i have the wifes Leon Cupra booked in for a leather retrim in Aug, am considering getting the whole lot redone again in the RS as well...

Only the back one is thicker on the SS+ spec car I believe. The rear H&R one is not that thick either, it is the front one that is massive and is a fair bit heavier than standard and it is this that causes the loss of ride comfort. I ran my car for nearly a year before uprating the ARB's and it was noticably more uncomfortable at low speed once the H&R kit was fitted.
The body control was superb afterwards though so in my case it was worth it but it is certainly not for everyone.
Do you think you will keep it the same or are you tempted by something different like some of the plush cars out there?
