Hi all,

After a bit of advice...

I've recently changed my non res Milly for a res well section anyway.. about 2 months after buying the car I noticed a whistle type whirr coming from the front of the engine bay on start up lasting about 2-3 minutes, I believe this is a system for warming the cats? anyway this whistle or whirr has now become almost a screech almost like the sound that comes from the power steering on full lock! It lasts about the same 2-3 mins after start-up.
Obviously it is alot more apparent after quietening down the exhaust!!

Has anyone ever had this happen before? If so what was the cause outcome?

Jesus they aint cheap either! can this be done by a complete novice with the right spanners or is it a rear ending raping by the stealers?

Get rid of it. Will need mapping to stop the error coming up though. Speed the money on an MRC map instead.
