Hi guys.
Got a knock when driving onto my drive (which is a incline) from the front, feels like under your feet almost.
It's also there under hard braking, just clunks once.

Thought it was the rear lower control arms so had them replaced, but it's still there.

Anyone experienced this??

Twiddle steering wheel back and forth fast - if clocks then steering rack bolt likely
Otherwise drc a potential

Not a drc fault car handles fine, is stable and no leaks, no knocking when moving steering.
Bad under hard breaking and there under hard accel.

No sign of it over pot holes or driving. Only when the load is changing on the front.

Driveshaft?

no there ok too - just had it on some ramps at a local german car specialists, no real movement in anything, but its deffo coming from the front drivers side and is a real bad knock, getting worse now on accelleration too.

Anti roll bar bushes / drop links?

Worth checking the undertray fixing are all in place.

The torque mount is drivers side front, but literally right at the front just behind bumper.
Engine mount?.

Had exactly the same last year, it was the subframe, a new set of bolts torqued correctly sorted it for me

Thanks for that tip! I removed those subframe bolts, greased them and torqued them up and most of the knocking has gone!!

The knock under braking and accel is gone, which was disturbing lol.

Still have a slight knock as I back off the drive under full lock. Bit nothing major..
