What lights do you have on the dash? I removed SAI and do t have a code up yet only a lambda code pending but I have a couple of spacers to go on at the weekend.
I have both EPC and engine light due to the stage 2 manifold, so careful driving the MRC today :bigblink:

All went well at mrc today, in and out within 2 hours

She made 437ps and 472nm :biggrin3:

All I can say is what a difference, the torque is most noticeable, really pulls from low down now and right until the extended 200 rpm limiter  feels a much quicker car, and IMO as it should have been :audibash:

The noise is also nicer now the cats are gutted, only a subtle difference but more gruff

Cheers Doug/MRC, one happy customer here :beerchug: , a new and welcomed lease of life following 3 good years of ownership, here's to another few more in the b7

Awesome, have been watching this thread with interest, lovely job of de-coking and glad you've got decent results from it! Enjoy! :D

Nice job.

I think they also cut back the ports on the Stage2 mani's, I just took the view that anything that helps to maximise the airflow and effectively reduce the carbon build up was worth it.

Get ready for a shock on the amount of smoke you make in the mornings now until warm, and also how much oil you start to use now too lol It all made quite a difference to mine.

Great results. Do you think the extra Torque is gained from removing the limiter in the first 3 gears?

Nice one, glad the mess was worth it :)

But 2 hours in and out for a Stage 2?! For some reason I thought it was a 2 day job. Do they do much customisation for your actual car or is it just a sort of off the shelf image?

Nice reward for all your hard work, have a little way to go before getting where you are but all very tempting.

Hi All,

Returned from Centre Parks yesterday, with the car fully loaded to the roof and bikes on top the extra torque was more than welcomed  .

I cannot stress enough the increase in torque IMO, particularly below where the old 5.5k kick was, it was gutless here before in comparison (an opinion also shared by my cousin when he drove it). I can now drive the car differently with less of a need to change down gears.

Anyway a few final RR & leaving CP pics :):

It may have been nearer 3 hours TBH and Doug was on it full time, he was tweeking the map between runs/during cool down period.

My advice to you Tony (as you are fully ready for a remap) would be get it done

I asked if replacing this would be a good idea to which they replied "yes ideally" but at £135.00 I think I will leave it and take the risk  ridiculous price for a bit of moulded plastic!!

May i ask which past is this please?
