Spacers Size Question.... I searched.. honest

Everyone seems to go 8/10, there’s many pics out there for this.

I am running OEM wheels and standard tyre size also.

Is there any issue with 10m on the fronts? Seems the only negative is with a wider tyre or a chav look....

Any advice and pics of a non 8/10 car with similar wheel/tyre size would be great, want to order some this week.

if your running a 255/35 you will be fine with a 10mm. You might need to remove the top screw in your fender liner as that is the most common area for rubbing. Here's a shot of my car lowered on Stasis/Ohlins and 10mm spacers front and rear. OEM 255/35/19 on stock wheels.

Edge - I've just done spacers and I've gone for 8mm all round - I have SS+ so, on the advice of Virdee (top bloke) went 8mm all round. No issues rubbing and looks spot on

i was running 8 and 10 with 255/35/19 contis but when i fitted GY F1 assy 2 they were rubbing on the arch liners due to the squarer profile and sidewall protectors so took them off :-(

well in fairness it was only when cornering hard or belting down the back roads through dips etc but it was annoying

I have A5 wheels at the moment 19"x9"et33 and use 11mm at front and 17mm at rear that corresponds with 7mm and 13mm. SS+ suspension and 225/40-19 PS2 tires..no rubbing!

Mine on 10mm spacers currently but they are coming off. Looks good but the man from audi designed the car for a certain track width which I would like to return to.

Ha ha there's only 3 posts with information about non 8/10 spacer people...bit like what what I noticed when searching for spacers.

Thank you guys, for the pics, thinking of heading off the beaten track and going 10/10.

So the only fear of 10mm fronts is possible rubbing on one screw or if you have a wider tyre or non OEM wheel.
