I'm afraid I went with a dark anthracite in the end! Sorry shadow chrome - maybe next time...

i really like my shadow chrome wheels but after a tyres change they are now starting to peel at the edges...shadow chrome is painted and not powder coated i believe hence softer, im looking at black chrome powder coating next like the image below

mine are powder coated and i got them done a shade or 2 darker than that pic as i thought it was a bit too blingy for my tastes when the guy showed me a range rover one they had just done , he said we can do it as dark as you like
2 years on and no flaking issues other than my own dumbass kerbing on one rim :-(

they look great, i didnt really want to go too dark but i see what your saying about it them possibly being too blingy...i think i will go for something similar to you for durability alone...

Mine are shadow chrome too tho not quite as dark as some but darker than factory wheel
