Undertray replacement

Post by gt2 » Wed Apr 23, 2014 12:14 pm

Has anyone ever used this part?

Im still waiting on a price back from audi direct but having looked through previous threads the price is about £160 for the part alone so its quite a saving. Quality dependent obviously.....

It doesn't have the brake cooling ducts the oem one has.

What about this one, looks right.

I had mine fitted at Amd I am sure it was under £200 fitted, mine had cracked and the duct that went to one of the brakes was broke and hung down, apparently they brake quite easily, a stone etc can damage them.

Expensive for a bit of plastic you will never see,

Neither of those look right , i had mine off the other day and they are both the wrong shape especially at the front , the RS4 one is a tight fit and overlaps and tucks in behind other trim parts and is held on with loads of quicklock screws so it its not exactly right it wont fit , but the pic doesnt necessarily mean it will be wrong , but its a risk

I'd just bite the bullet and buy one from audi and fit it myself, for the price of everything that's rs4 a couple hundred bucks isn't much.
