Yet another what's it worth...

Your advice please guys on a reasonable price to ask / expect for a private sale

It's a brilliant spec, ridiculously low mileage, and very recent service, MOT & Tax - but unlike some on here it hasn't been detailed to an inch of it's life, and has some work needed to make it perfect (see The Bad) - so the price should reflect this

Hoping I change my mind (or win the lottery) but it got to the point where I'm taxing, insuring and servicing an annual trip to the MOT centre...

Thanks

Dom

Sounds fine. Just drop it to a professional detailers and ask them to get it mint and you can easily command top top money, say £25-£27k.

Ps, I'll buy your Milltek off of you and give you my exhaust

All too often low milers go beyond the 24 month service interval, whereas yours has five oil changes / services in the book!

Thanks all - I'm obviously in two minds (who wouldn't be) but I hardly ever get a chance to drive it the way it's intended, and almost always use my company car around town to keep the engine in top form

I'm a bit reluctant to get it perfect myself as a.) the buyer might want a different finish to the wheels, know a friendly bodyshop/detailer etc. and b.) some muppet might ding it the moment it's done

If consensus is that it's something like a 27k car when perfect, would a £2k drop to cover (if you're being really fastidious) a rear bumper respray / replacement grill surround / wheel refurb / full detail be about right, or is it more / less?

DK - if i need to get back to stock, you've got first refusal on the Milly...

You have more chance of selling it stock given the mileage I reckon

Put it back to stock and keep it another 5 years when the market has really picked up for good, standard low mileage Avants.

Future classic for sure.
