Odd engine trouble

Hello peeps.
Would appreciate a bit of help troubleshooting this off problem with odd symptoms but no obvious connection. Well, I can think of one, but I don't want to taint others' views.
So the symptoms are this:
1. No more one-touch start - you have to hold the start button in to keep it turning over
2. Revs don't come back down quickly after blipping throttle - results in jerky gear changes
3. Cruise control not engageable.
Anyone seen these symptoms together before?
CheeRS!
/edit: forgot to mention, I'm not with the car at the moment but will scan it ASAFP.

Sounds like your clutch switch is faulty.
Cheap fix and only 10 mins work.

Defiantly your clutch peddle switch, I had the same symptoms end of last year on mine.
New switch from Audi stealers £17, fitted myself in just under 15 minutes, job done.
Just make sure you don't push the plunger in on the new switch before fitting, as this will make it useless, if you do a search on here you will find full guide on how to install it.

Ace. Thanks. I was thinking accelerator pedal issue, but clutch switch makes sense. Will a DTC be logged? I do like positive confirmation.

Hi guys, thank you for your help.
The log shows effectively a clutch pedal switch default : 20€, 5 minutes... Well, 20€ for me, and 5' for Shoppinit...
I can relax now.

+1
Those are the 3 classic symptoms of the clutch switch having failed.

I did my one last week. Make sure you turn the new switch firmly fully clockwise when fitting (you will hear and feel an audible click when it is fully home) otherwise nothing will happen when you press the start button.
