Last night someone decided that they rather liked the look of my wing mirrors, and so just ripped them off.... so now i am left with the black mounting from which some wires are waving about. Not happy.
Anyway, does anyone know of where might just have a pair of replacements, second hand? Bristol Audi have quoted £966.40 for just the parts....
I've found some purporting to be the right ones using various parts searching websites, but turns out they aren't right (they will fit but aren't the 2006 versions that i had)

standard non folding RS4 mirrors yes ?

if so there was a post on here with all the parts listed I think

altogether though you are looking at a fair wad of cash. the housings are £265 ? per side

then you need mechanism, glass etc, possibly wiring too if thats been damaged during "removal"

£966 sounds about right i'm afraid....

Sorry to hear about your mirrors, had milk poured over mine the other night, from a distance I thought it was the primer and it was brake fluid,.... All ok but was I was fuming !

There was a pair on EBay last week but just looked for them but not listed any more

There are a couple of RS4's being being broken on EBay, unless you are after new replacements ?

What colour were they?

Are the inner workings the same as the normal mirrors? Wont help with the caps but will be cheaper for the motors and workings if this is the case?

second hand ones rare as hen's teeth (no real surprise of course), as he ones i am looking for are the standard non folding ones. ho hum! insurance it is then.

This car has been on ebay for ages, might be worth making an offer and seeing how bad the passenger mirror is? It might be fixable.

I hadn't really thought about a price yet but I was thinking more than the eBay link posted above. So I'd suggest grabbing those, as they won't be around for long at that price!
