On the hunt.....

Hi All,
First time poster here - please be gentle.

The time has come sadly where my youngest starts to go to school - so the two seater has to go.

Top of the replacement list is an RS4 Cabriolet......downside is they seem as rare as hens teeth. I am looking for the newest, lowest mileage (<40k) example I can find. Autotrader and PistonHeads coming up a bit empty. Wife insists on the droptop - and yes I am aware of the rigidity loss/handling impact!

If anyone has any tips - things to look for etc - and more importantly if you have mint condition low mileage one, let me know!

I am based in North London - but expect to have to travel!

Failing an RS4, will be forced to go the M3 route!

All help appreciated.
Thanks
Phil

I was forced to sell what was my 7th 2 seater convertible (TTS) when we were expecting our baby. Decided on the RS4 as the only proper replacement. Picked it up and told the salesman he'd never sold an rs4 to someone so pissed off to collect it.

Two and a half years on and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I love this car - I actually look forward to going to Sainsburys because I get to drive it. It's just awesome and the perfect family car! It hit 75k recently and right now I expect to own it when it hits 150k. There is nothing else I can think of that would replace it.

The m3 is a lovely looking car but the test drive left me a bit cold in comparison.
