45 mate. Live in Cornwall, no mods (me or the car), 9000 miles per year, girlfriend as named driver, car garaged overnight, 7 years no claims.watts6087 wrote:How old are u lol? That doesn't quite add up... did you somehow carry over NCB from a scooter?watts6087 wrote:I am 26 with 10 years ncb![]()

Comparethemarket.com or gocompare.com are your friends herefokker wrote:Sky who advertise on here have been my choice for the past 6 years so I've been a loyal customer. They've just quoted me 504 pounds. I'm 37 with 9 years ncb and clean license living in a good area. Judging by previous posts I should be able to reduce this via Axa or Greenflag.
I'll post results in the week.
What did you say to get them to reduce it by that much, they normally ask for proof of a lower quote ??watts6087 wrote:I had my insurance renewal come though from admiral it was £752 I rang them up and got them down to £530 for the year

An idea equally lost on phone companies - great deals to attract new customers, and a nice finger to 'loyal' ones who ask for the same.njm rs6 wrote:Got my renewal from admiral last year saying they were putting up my premium by 200 quid to £1200 so I went on money supermarket and guess what..... the cheapest quote was admiral for £700, called them, said my piece and got another £100 for the inconvenience! Apparently theres a differant quoting system for new customers compared to existing ones which is bullshit, surely they should be rewarding loyalty not punishing you for it!!
