Isn't RS04 BYE someone on here?

Definitely something fishy going on with that ad though. I'd say you dodged a bullet more than missed a bargain.

The first picture showing the rs6 outside the unit is from here as it had been detailed.

Fraud. Free money. Some buyers are reckless, especially when faced with a seemingly unbelievably good deal. Usually unbelievable for a reason.

Seen a few of these ads recently, was even one for an rs4 b7 for 6k. Just absolute b******s! As they say; if it sounds too good to be true it usually is!

These scams are everywhere. 3 days after I bought mine last year it appeared for sale on PistonHeads for about £9k  Same pictures of the car and identical text lifted from the previous ad with "payment only by money transfer". Quick email to PH saw it withdrawn. :FIREdevil:

How do these scams work ?
Surely someone doesn't phone a deposit through without actually seeing the car ?? Do they ?

Possibly!? Although if thats what the scam is hoping to achieve, why did the 'seller' tell the OP that the car was sold, why not just say it was still available and a deposit secures......?

Does seen odd, although seller may have taken so many deposits already he/she may have started to think people we're testing the scam
