B7 RS4 Door Blade Rust?

Recently got my B7 RS4, I noticed the door blade has come away from the door.. upon inspection i realised that it has got rust on the inside and thats why its come away a bit from the door.
Now my B7 is 2007 covered 94k but has a full Audi service history, i know theres no warranty left due to age or mileage but will it be covered under bodywork / paint warranty?
has anyone had this issue?
any advice appreciated chaps...

i have the same thing where the front door blades have become ripply. on inspection this too was rust i tried to clean it up and glue back together with a few clamps. it did help but still have a slight ripply effect, i think the only answer is new door blades.

I had this but they classify it as Trim. So there is no warranty.

Just got one of mine done at Audi, still had a Audi warranty on it but they said that it was not covered .
It cost about £160 to get it painted & fitted by Audi

I had same - keep an eye on eBay as I managed to source one blade for about £40, had it painted for £25 job done
then I noticed the other one had started to go :/ bought new blade from audi think its about £100. Audi quoted about £225 per side to replace fit and paint them !

Looks like a trip to the stealers then!
Does anyone know if the front bumper foglight is same as any other B7 A4 or is the rs4's different?
Mine has a crack and I was going to replace it but wanted to know if any other model b7 would fit

The foglight is the same as all other B7s.

RS2s suffer from same problem . Best to buy full set now ( if your car is a keeper ) as they are reasonably priced .
