Just for fun - how much fuel you crammed in yer B7

Post by sync24 » Thu Oct 24, 2013 12:45 pm

I said I would do this on Sunday - just for a bit of fun. What's the record for the most fuel you have crammed into the petrol tank in your B7. All normal tricks [EG fingering your petrol button are allowed] - No points for petrol pouring out the filler neck as you leave the garage!

I'll kick this off with mine from last Sat ...

70 litres is a pretty good start. I've never got that much in. Petrol Dave and PG are the record holders here I think

61.37
However I just filled up and for the first time "fingered the tramp" and got 51.13 in but still had 105 miles showing. I'll run this tank to the bottom and try again but the tramp fingering definitely worked as the needle has gone right to full for the first time

70.02L, that must have been bone dry?
I try not to run that low on fuel, i get to about 100 miles on the dis and then fill up.

Think I had 2 miles left on the DIS - I normally fill up as soon as the light comes on and get circa 300miles out a tank full to the top

How Spooky is this. I actually saw the one local Tramp when I had just filled up earlier......I need to get a pic of me finger fcuking him whilst filling up and pressing the iccle button, and with GagGag sat in the passengers seat....picture that chaps!!!!!

I've created a monster! :biggrin3:

I love how quickly the term has caught on though.

You certainly have brightened a dull day again, but the finger fcuking the local Tramp that's not a good image LOL

Yep, I can't remember the exact number but have managed just over 70L once. Usually try to get at least 66L in and occasionally get 68L

When I fill up I normally get about 54l but that's without getting stinky fingered.

Firestarter = wrongun :lol:

Well just pulled out all my fuel receipts and I've visited Shell 28 times (feels like double) in my ownership and my maximum recorded fill up was 62.11L and have only exceeded 60 L four times in total. Nice to know that I have some hidden in reserve should the worst happen and I can find no V power.

70L of SUL is over £101 down my way :shock:
