OEM Brake discs

Post by Chrispgy_RS4 » Wed Sep 25, 2013 9:43 am

I joined this forum back in January 2012 and have found it to be wealth of info for us owners.
I recently had the pad warning light come on and as suspected it was time to change the discs as well.
I was aware of the great deal at Stoke Audi, so armed with this I thought I would try my local suppliers.
My closest Audi parts supplier is Capitol Skoda based on the Leeway Industrial Estate in Newport. They mainly deal in Skoda (as the name suggests) and Seat but they are also Audi service agents.
They offered me the front discs for £550 and the rears for £588 incl vat which is more or less the same as Stoke.
If anyone is interested in this price then they should ask David Flint, his number is 01633 636430.
I am no way affiliated with them or do I stand to benefit from sharing this with you just thought it would good to pass on the info.
I bought the fronts from them and also sourced Ferodo Premier pads from another member on the forum for a total package of £625. Not a bad saving from OEM prices.
Once I figure how to upload photos from ipad I will post a pic of my pride and joy.
